About Me

My name is Danielle and I am grew up in Michigan. I graduated from a small private, Christian college in May 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics.

I started this blog when I was heading down to Disney World to do a Fall 2014 Professional Internship (PI) from June 2014 to January 2015. As a Conservation Education Presenter, I worked at Disney's Animal Kingdom teaching the public about Conservation while being a troop leader with the Wilderness Explorers program.

I did a second PI from January 2015 to June 2015 as a Merchandise Category Planning Intern for the Home Decor and Seasonal categories. In this role I forecasted guest demand for items in our categories, implemented selling strategies for inventory, etc. I learned a lot in this role and led me to stay with Disney in a full time capacity for a different department doing analytical work.

This blog is about the PI application process and all of the things I do as I spend my time as a college graduate working at the Happiest Place on Earth!
