Bucket List Fall: 2014 PI

Since I will be in Disney for at least 7 months, I figured I would post some of the things I want to do while I am there. Then when I accomplish something I can cross it off to mark my progress. 

Attractions (4/15)

1. Ride every ride at Disney World (7/10-DAK attractions [minus Fossil Fun Games])

2. See all the shows (7/10-DAK shows [minus Winged Encounters])

3. Visit all 4 parks in one day (6/17 [kinda. trained 8hrs at DAK, we picked up Dana and went to EPCOT, HS, and MK. Definitely need to do it again!])

8. Take a tour of Haunted Mansion (took a tour of Spaceship Earth...)

17. Become a galactic hero on Buzz Lightyear 

39. Visit all the "Mountains" in one day

40. Have an Animal Programs Tower of Terror Ride (6/21[Amber ended up liking the number of AP interns in this one better and bought the picture from this night] and 6/22 [official event])

24. Become a Senior Wilderness Explorer (7/10- went on day off to earn last 5 badges up at Conservation Station. Amber awarded me my Senior Wilderness Explorer Badge at Animal Call during the pouring rain) 

54. Ride Space Mountain with Lights on

80. Be a rebel spy on Star Tours

81. Be picked as a volunteer at Indiana Jones

82. See both versions of Great Movie Ride (7/25-gangster version, 8/22-cowboy version)

83. Volunteer at Backlot Tour (Didn't get to do this before it closed for good on September 27th)

87. Get evacuated from a ride

94. Ride a ride with the lights on

Food (4/12)

4. Eat/drink at every country pavilion in EPCOT (7/4-sandwich in France, 7/25-fish n chips in UK)

5. Eat a Dole Whip (6/18)

6. Eat a Turkey Leg

29. Try the Grey stuff (6/19-Be Our Guest Lunch at MK)

30. Attempt the Kitchen Sink with friends

31. Create a treat at Goofy's Candy Company

32. Try LeFou's Brew (10/11-on my solo trip to MK)

48. Eat something at every park (6/12-Earl of Sandwich at DTD, 6/14-Fries at Backlot Express at HS, 6/18-Dole Whip and Pecos Burger at MK, 6/19-Be Our Guest Lunch at MK, 6/24-Pizzafari at DAK, 7/3-Cream Cheese Pretzel at MK, 7/4-French Sub thing at EPCOT) 

53. Try a Mickey Ice Cream Bar (7/29-Kali River Kooldown DAK cast only event)

13. Earn a four Keys card (7/22-had an Hispanic family while Krystal was iPacing me and said I was patient with his kids,7/30-guest called me out in Just in Time survey ,8/18-parent went up to Brittany during an iPac and said she was apart of personal or something that I was great)

36. Play Grocery Bingo

37. Go to at least one Welcome Party (6/19-Off to Neverland)

38. Get some Cast Member only merchandise (7/10- Bought CM lanyard and VoluntEAR vinylmation)

51. Work a PAC shift

Get an A-Paws-a-gram (7/12-from Mike for using AOI w/ questions of names, 7/31-from Katie F for covering letter when she went home, 8/1-from Sara for being flexible with rotation and spending extra time in Africa, 8/4-from Katie M for covering letter when slept in, 8/10-from Katie F for helping out with signal 70 at HQ, 8/25-from Brittany for fixing croc skull)

Disney Special Events (6/11)
14. Attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (6/21)

15. Go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

18. Go to filming of Christmas Parade

19. Go to Star Wars Weekend (6/14)

20. Attend Candlelight Processional

21. See Holiday Lights at HS

22. Go to Food and Wine Festival (10/5, 10/8)
69. Spend a Holiday at a park (7/4-Independence Day! [Spent the 3rd at MK, day of 4th at HS, and night of 4th at EPCOT])
86. See a concert at EPCOT (either Eat to the Beat or Sounds of Summer) (7/4-walked by a Sounds of Summer concert on the 4th [some Boston Band or something...] does that count? jk, 9/29-heard the first couple songs of Hansen at Eat to the Beat, 10/8-watched the Sugar Ray concert with the Roomies)
91. Wild Africa Trek
92. Go to Villians Unleashed (was on 8/23-did not complete. decided the price of the ticket wasn't worth it. and apparently it is still kind of a mess, so I am glad I didn't do it)

Other Parks Stuff (8/25)

7. See all 3 fireworks shows in 1 night

11. Go to both water parks 

16. Collect all of the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom cards 

23. Take a photo in every country in the World Showcase (7/4-group pic outside US, 7/25-boyfriend pic w/ Megan outside Mexico, 7/25-pic w/ mom outside France)

25. Find Devine at AK (6/16 [kinda. saw her while at DAKlimations and a few times since. need to get a picture with her!], 7/10-took pictures of/with her!)

41. Take pictures/get autographs with as many characters as possible

42. Take an Animation Drawing class at HS (8/15-drew Goofy and Minnie, 8/22-drew Dopey)

49. Go on a Hidden Mickey Hunt

52. Witness a marriage proposal (10/???-caught the tail end of one with the clapping while opening WE HQ on the Discovery Island Bridge, saw one in the rose garden at MK in Jan)

55. Spot a celebrity (possibly...started two girls with mom and GR assistant one day at tracking badge. had no idea who she is. Sandra thought she recognized her from movies. Also rumor about really rich family being at WDW that week)

59. Ride the Monorail all the way around to relax (6/12-with other Animal Programs PIs and Josh[a F&B MI at HS that did 2 CPs at MK])
60. Trade a pin! (traded for some Tiggers, Maleficent, etc)

63. Collect some pressed pennies (ToT symbol, ToT Stitch, Adventureland, Sheriff Donald)

64. Get a Celebration Button (7/4-Celebrating being a Jr Ranger in Canada by finding all of the animal friends!, 7/25-got a Sr Ranger button when my family became Jr Rangers)
66. Be at park at Rope Drop (well, at DAK at rope drop quite often...but need to do this as a guest somewhere, especially MK)
68. Wear Mickey Ears in the park and take a ton of pictures
70. Send a postcard from inside a park
71. Get a picture with balloons
72. Go to the parks alone (7/10-went to DAK by myself on day off)
73. Try every drink at club cool (6/17 [did about half, but need to go back to finish!],7/25 [did some more with my family, not sure if I have completed them yet, though...])
74. Pick up the phone at EPCOT
75. See the Utilidors (6/14 [during traditions!])
78. Stay in a park from open to close (6/17 [kinda. Was at DAK at park open for training and was at MK for close, but came home to change in between])
79. See the "Kiss Goodnight" (3x: when I was at the park w/ the Cranes, with Megan, Nick, and Nick, and with the roomies one time)
90. Collect Conservation Pins (6/11-Kids and Nature Celebration [given to all Animal Programs PIs at welcoming meeting], 6/24-Animal Kingdom [donated at Pizzafari], 6/28- DAK Lodge [merchandise lady gave to me], 7/24-Disney's Character Warehouse [donated at Cast Connection], 7/25-The Land, 7/25-The Seas, 8/27-Animal Kingdom [new green one, took from HQ], ???/???- Old Key West, Wilderness Lodge, and Port Orleans on resort hopping trip with Amber, 10/26-Art of Animation  (need to at get Wild Africa Trek, Coronado Spring, blank blue one)

Resorts and Other Activities (5/13)

26. Go to campfire sing-a-long at Fort Wilderness (11/21-went to the campfire but not the sing-a-long for our team builder)

27. Watch Wishes from Poly beach (6/12-with other Animal Programs PIs and Josh... and a super awesome duck and her babies)

28. Walk around each resort (6/11-Animal Kingdom Lodge, 6/12-Polynesian Resort, Old Key West, Port Orleans French Quarter, Wilderness Lodge, Art of Animation, All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, All-Star Sports)
33. See a movie at DTD Dine-in theater (seen The Giver and Big Hero 6 at the theater, but not a dine-in one)

34. Go to Splitsville (10/15-with Sandra, Lucy, Christina, Ashley S and her boyfriend, Abel and his fiance)

35. Play mini-golf 

50. Participate in DisneyRun event

58. Go to House of Blues or Jellyrolls or Howl at the Moon (at least once to say I did it) (went to Howl at the Moon with a bunch of people, 10/15-House of Blues with Sandra, Lucy, and Christina)

62. Spend a day relaxing at the pool

84. Relax in a hammock (10/23-at Old Key West with Mom)
85. Visit ESPN Wide World of Sports (7/27-with family [basically saw the front and gift shop, want to try and walk around])
88. Go on a run at a resort
93. Eat at Earl of Sandwich (6/12-with a bunch of Animal Programs interns, Josh[F&B MI] and Carli [who will be working with the Beautifully Collection], 7/26-with family, 8/21-with Nick, 8/27-with Sandra)

Non-Disney (8/11)

43. Get an Annual Pass to Universal (7/6- purchased!)

44. Visit Harry Potter World/new Diagon Alley (7/6- still LOTS more to explore!)

45. Do all the rides at Universal

46. Go to Halloween Horror Nights (10/22 with mom!)

47. Try Butterbeer (7/6- didn't think I really liked it at first, but was delicious!)

61. Go to Sea World 

76. See manatees (11/28 went to Blue Springs with Dana)
77. Visit Celebration (6/30-ate dinner at Town Tavern and walked around a tiny bit)

57. Go to the Beach (7/18-walked around beach at Jetty Park on East Coast and Clearwater on West Coast)
89. See the Everglades
95. Go to Tampa Bay Rays game (8/20-Nick took me to see them play my Tigers!!!)
